Your support makes our robotics programs soar!

Aquidneck Island Robotics is a 501(c)(3) all-volunteer nonprofit organization with an annual budget of over $50K across all of our programs. Expenses include robot manufacturing materials, competition entry fees, tools and equipment. Your contributions, both financial and in-kind, enable us to bring our hands-on STEM programs to 80-100 students each year.

From our youngest students to our alumni, your contributions help AIR soar!

Dream it: Our FLL students begin to awaken to their interest in STEM.

Emma is one of our many elementary and middle school students who participate in small-group FLL teams. Being engaged in solving a real-world engineering problem while also building and programming a Lego-component, gives these kids a big introduction to a variety of engineering fields.

Build it: Our FRC students deepen their skills and commitment.

Nathan, one of our high-school-aged FRC students, works with a team of about 30 students. Guided by mentors who are professional engineers, these. kids build everything from scratch, becoming more specialized in their skills and learning where their AIR experience can take them.

Grow it: AIR alumni take what they have learned into the world.

Sami is one of our many AIR alumni who head off to college and beyond, launched by their AIR experience. These alumni bring with them not only the hands-on STEM skills they learned, but also the teamwork, respect, and leadership skills that make them stand out in their fields.
